The pictures are very beautifull with oranges, reds, golds and touches of blue-green. Autumn had a Supplee painting in her house and I hoped she would appreciate the wild coloring of this quilt. Tuesday, September 22, 2009
This is the last quilt I finished. It just doesn't seem to show up well in a picture. It is really bright and I think pretty. I made it for someone in our ward named Autumn who just built and moved into a new house. She was my visiting teaching partner for awhile but now I visit her. I thot it would be fun to make this quilt for her. There is an artist in Moab named Sarena Supplee who paints landscapes of this area which I personally call "stylistic realism".
The pictures are very beautifull with oranges, reds, golds and touches of blue-green. Autumn had a Supplee painting in her house and I hoped she would appreciate the wild coloring of this quilt.
