So, this is the new pool - being built. One of the things in Moab that made it possible to live here was the town pool. It was small, but it was cool and wet. For years they've talked about needing a new pool. The old one was so old, it leaked, and the electrical system was breaking down. So last fall, the began tearing it all down, and this summer there is no pool, just this structure, half built. They promise a beautiful facility for next summer.

They messed a lot of the park behind the pool, and that is where the car show is held. So for the car show, there was less room and the cars were packed in more tightly, making it hard to get thru the crowds. Some of the cars were parked in the streets. Oh well, sometimes we just have to put up with what the bureaucrats decide for us.
