In the guild, we are encouraged to make smallish quilts to be given to chidren in the community that are going thru trauma because of family. They are called "kids in crisis". One woman in the guild sometimes cuts up fabric and makes up kits for us to take home and sew up. Since I finished "the dress" and waiting for the trip to NJ, I've taken some time to put together some quilts for this project. The red one was a kit from Laura Senter from the guild. The very colorful one I made from some fat quarters I had and some of my ever present plaids. They say the kids love the colorful ones. I do too.
