In front of the fudge store, Morrows, the most important place in town, next to Bill's, our favorite breakfast place.

Our group at the beach this year, Candace, Andrew, LT, Chris, Jill and Sonya. Candace, Andrew and LT, or Muffy as I've always known her, were there for the first three days and then had to get back to the city. We missed them, the more the merrier is always true at the beach.

This quilt is interesting, very different from ones I have made before. It is for Dan Smith, the son of my good friend, Louise. She seemed hesitant to have me make a quilt for him when he got married, but, as I've said, I like to make quilts and it is more fun to make them on purpose specially for someone. I thought a good, very bright quilt would be good, but Louise said their furnishings are mostly modern, gray, white and beiges. I was trying to make up a pattern and couldn't figure out what I was trying for. Anyway, when I showed this quilt to the guild, there were oohs and ahs, that's a good sign.

I made these two baby quilts using an old pattern from Sonya. My friend Sandra asked (the word is "commissioned) me to make them for a relative having twins, one boy and one girl, in August. I used fabric from my stash, no problem. It was so fun and I really liked how they turned out.
