Baby quilts & a Baby

I had this plaid piece of material for awhile and didn't know what to do with it.  It's actually nice, cotton material and up close looks nicer than in the picture.  It has a small yellow line in it to offset the black and gray.  It was already a good size for a baby quilt, so I made a modern backing with big pieces of yellow and gray, yellow binding.  I used a lot of thread quilting it, 5 full bobbins worth.

This is a baby quilt for the RS from the material I "inherited."  It was small scraps, so I couldn't leave it big.

I was talking to Jill on Skype this afternoon and grabbed my camera to see what I could get, just for fun.  Our sweet little baby was being so cute.  I watcher her run circles around her momma.  Wow, she is a busy little one, loves to stand even when just sitting would do.  At one point she was peeking around the corner to her room, her head slanted, and grinning.  It was her new "peek-a-boo".
