Denim Quilt, lap size, June 2017

 I made this quilt for Bruce, to take along with him when he has to work away from home,  He usually stays in a motel but sometimes rents a house if his job will keep him away for long.  This is from denim squares, notice the one block with the dark spot left after the pocket was removed.  I cut up jeans saved for  years, and I have a lot of blocks left to work with.

The denim blocks are surrounded by these bright bits of flannel.  Heavy and warm quilt.The back is a heavy, warm flannel, with no batting between.
