Weighted blanket

I made this weighted blanket for a friend with PTSD.  I had never heard of such a thing so looked it up on Google and read as much as I could along with the tutorials before starting this,  It was really a bear to make, struggling with the weights, trying to sew the seams without letting the little weight pellets migrate under the needle.  I was worried all the pulling, tugging, weight would mess up my machine, but I guess it'll be all right,.  It's made from beige sheet I already had filled with tiny plastic pellets sewn into pockets to distribute the weight.  The ladies at quilt guild knew about this item and said it was helpful for children with autism.
