Vere working on the deck. The base took forever, subject to the weather. It sat out there partially done all winter as he tore the old one out last fall and got started on the uprights for this one. He's been puttering when the weather allows all spring. I wanted a staircase on either side and they were tricky and took time. The floor took a lot of time and lots of screws. I thought the railing would take a lot of time - measuring and cutting the uprights. But the horizontals had holes ready for the verticles that just had to be inserted. One section in and you can get a idea of how it's going to be. I could have sat out on in yesterday, but the chairs are scattered out in the yard and I was just too tired to bring them in. This week!!!
