Vere came in a few minutes ago and spread his hands and said "Done!". He finished putting the brackets on the railing going down the far steps of our backyard deck. Last year in October he tore down the deck he and Harold had built years ago. We enjoyed that deck but it was shredding and buckling. He got a refund on the material and got started just before winter set in. He's been puttering, enjoying the spring weather and working on this. Not bad for a non - carpenter but handyman accountant. It's too hot out here in the middle of the day, but evenings are wonderful, perfect for watching the sunset, the sun filtering golden through the trees.
