October 2020, "String" quilt, full size

It takes a while, but eventually you get a box full of strips of fabric left from other projects.  This pattern is a great way to use strips of all different widths.  I've done several of these, some I've tried to go with mostly blues, for a boy or  pinks.  This one is just random.  The back is using some of my plaids.  I've decided to go mostly with squares for my backs, usually 11 inches, instead of matching up swatches like a jigsaw puzzle.  I was showing this to Jill and she said the last quilt I sent her for wrapping up on a cold winter night in front of the TV was getting worn out.  So this is for the Baldassanos.
