March 2022, full Size "Double Nine Patch"

Last post had a quilt "Courthouse Steps".   This is sister to that one.  I mean,  made the two quilts from a bag of fabric scraps given to me by guild member, Tommye.  Tommye's known for her beautiful, Asian inspired fabrics.  This bag she gave me was filled with tons of strips and tons of the 9 patch squares.  Also, there were several blocks for the Courthouse Steps and for this one "Double Nine Patch".  Each piece is 1 inch finished, which means, even thought most was already cut, there was still a Lot of Sewing to do.  I enjoy making quilts like this, no thinking or figuring out a pattern, just piecing.
