Quirks:

1. Whenever anyone goes somewhere interesting (anywhere is interesting) they are supposed to get me a postcard from there - either send or give to me. I tack it up on my "card wall". Very interesting! I have cards from Rio, Singapore, Mexico, Ireland (Sonya), Guatamala (Jill), Russia (Louise), Italy (Tina), Salem, Mass (Val), Alaska (me) and many others.

2. I have to have something in my hands to work on while watching tv - Usually a quilt, or a crossword puzzle.

3. I have to be in the middle of a book, sometimes I'm reading two or three at a time. Some years ago I started writing down the title of each book I read to make sure I didn't read the same one twice - this because of Robin Cook. His books are mind candy and so much alike I didn't want to read them more than once. I have quite a list.

4. I also am usually in the middle of a book on tape, or cd to listen to while I'm driving or sewing. These are written on my list too. Some books are more fun on audio because the reader uses the appropriate accent - ex. Janet Ivonavich books read with "Joisey" accent.

5. I can get into a peaceful state of mind when I play the piano or organ. Since I have a key to the church, one of my favorite things to do on a Saturday is to go and play hymns on the organ.

6. I look forward all week to going to a matinee movie at the local theater. I anxiously scan the local paper on Thursday to see what's playing. Sometimes, tho, there is nothing possible there to see. That's when I go to the church and play the organ all afternoon.

That's it. Tag, you're it, Sonya, Val, Brenda, Alison

you sent yourself a postcard from Alaska? That is pretty quirky! Okay, I'm working on it now.

Under your quirk #2, you usually have BOTH in your hands.

A lady who works with Jack at Ogden City collects postcards also. We've been bringing home postcards for her for over 20 years! Had we known you also collected them... Great post. Thanks! Love, MKG
