3rd granddaughter quilt

This is the last quilt in the granddaughter trilogy. I finished it and sent it off today. The pattern is called "tumbler" and is a little time consuming, but not hard to do.

I had quilted it all and was almost finished with the binding, but decided I really did not like the material on the back - enough that I took all the stitches out so I could put a softer, lighter fabric on the back. That "unsewing" took almost two weeks. But I'm more satisfied with the final quilt, and that's important!!

We can't wait to cuddle up with it!

It does feel good, as I needed it over me as I did the edges.
