Quilt Guild Show 2011

This past weekend was our quilt guild show here in Moab. We do one every two years though many say we should do one every year. There's just too much nerve wracking thought and work that goes into it. Everyone wants the show to go on, but it's hard to get anyone to be in charge. This year, I volunteered because I really wanted the show to go on. Of course, the one in charge doesn't really do all the work. There are many in the guild who know what they are doing and do what they have to. We had about 150 quilts in the show and more than 450 came to see it, from far away places, like Colorado, Arizona and SLC.

This is just a sample of how the classes look. This was on Sunday, and I took the class on Saturday. It's fun to take a class, though I usually don't take them.
