I made this quilt for Sam Wasden, who got married this past weekend. Leslie, his mother, had sent me a small bundle of fabric "fat quarters" a few years ago and I thought it appropriate to use that fabric as a basis for the quilt. I tried to use very bright fabrics but some of the star points are too light so the points get lost. But I hope you can see the slanted stars of the pattern. As you can see, I love very bright colors and the more variety, the better.
