Arghhh! Another upheavel in our house. I Really hope this is the last time. I just wanted new counter tops, like my friend, Betty, and also, Valerie. Our countertops were nicked and the seam lines seemed to be expanding. I also didn't like the sink. Where it joined the countertop, I could just imagine the gunk and germs under it. I wanted one of those sinks that just flow from the countertop. So, again we have stuff all over the place where it doesn't belong and dust over everything. Vere is trying to put the plumbing back together. The new sink is about 2 inches deeper, so the pipes for the disposal won't fit. Goodbye garbage disposal. I don't care much since I hardly used it. So here's my new sink and you can see the countertop.

it is done and we are in business, except for the little "hot spot" instant hot water faucet. we had to buy a new one of the net.

Good for you to just go ahead and DO IT! It looks fresh and clean - too bad you lost the garbage disposal, but I've never had one and lived through it!! They really aren't necessary. Collecting and mulching are better anyhow. Enjoy!
