Here it is, the quilt in process for almost a year. Last summer I was talking with Sonya and we thot it would be fun to make a quilt for our friend Muffy and her family. I said I had some really cute fabric with owls on it - you know sometimes how you buy fabric because you love it. The fabric was in a bundle of pre-cut 12 inch squares. I got a picture in my head of how it could look. I wanted to make a quilt with the squares on point, as I'd never done that and I needed to make some pieced squares to go along with the squares I had.

These are the pieced squares using the colors of the big squares.

This is one square already cut in the packet.

This is the other square from the packet.

I had someone machine quilt it for me and she put these little owls in the edge pieces. Cute. So, it's done but I'm holding on to it for another couple of weeks to show at the guild meeting in May.
