crumb quilts
A few weeks ago I posted a picture of stacks of blocks I made from the basket of small scraps I had. The person who introduced this idea called the blocks, "crumbs". I got really hyped up about putting these scraps together and sewed for days, and when I quit and decided to just leave what was left, I had enough blocks to make 5 quilts. They are not huge. I'm not quite sure what I'll do with these, but I decided maybe they would be good as "car quilts" for the trunks of our cars and for the kids' cars. Meanwhile, I haven't put backing on them, they're just done. The top is sashed with gray, and the bottom is sashed with black. Which do you like best?

I like the black sashing better. Great work!
I like the black sashing the best, too. And I think they look too good to be car quilts! What's wrong with gifting them?
I took one of each to guild and they seemed to think the kids in crisis would like them.

I like the black sashing. It really makes the colors pop.
