This quilt of the yellow and gray one for Jill's baby.  She'll be seeing it soon as we're taking it back east with us.  The outer border is my favorite, made from scraps cut from the corners of the blocks.  The back was pieced from the same fabric as the front.

This small quilt is first quilted in the pattern.  Then it is colored in by hand with colored pencils.  The color is then sealed with a special liquid painted on.  It's quite time consuming, I've seen whole quilts made this way and they are beautiful.  I didn't do the quilting, bought the panel at a quilt show from a vendor.  But it was fun to do.
