Ice Cream?

I found a recipe for ice cream on the internet, put milk, sugar and vanilla in a large plastic bag, put a smaller bag full of ice and salt inside, and toss around for about 10 minutes.  And you  will have ice cream.  So we played catch for 10 minutes and had - a bag of salty tasting milk.  Obviously it was an idea that sounded good, but was not.
