This quilt is called "Rubic's Cube". I found it on a blog on the computer. I decided It would be great to use some of the fabric I had with big print. I also liked the small squares in random 9 patch put anywhere I wanted in the middle of a white block. The fabric I wanted mainly to use was the one in the middle of the second picture, yellow with pink flowers. The dark blocks were just to detract from the sugery feel of the rest of the materials. The bottom picture is the back. I like to add leftovers to the backing and I had some of the 2 1/2" squares from the front. I made this for my neighbor, Barbara who is always helping us, steps in when we are away to hide the newspaper, or take in the mail. She took me to the doctor once, and out to lunch, or she stops over to visit, cause I don't go much anywhere these days.
