Quilts in fabric and glass

I've had this fabric around for quite awhile.  Both pieces are very cute for a baby quilt, but I didn't know what to back up either one with.  The one with the squares was also not quite big enough.  Usually if I hang onto a  piece of fabric long enough, something inspires me.  Yesterday I was looking at both of them and realized they are the perfect compliment of each other - voila, a reversible quilt.  I just added a small slice of  pale orange on the edge of the one with squares to make it big enough.  Since I didn't have to piece anything, just machine quilt it, I was able to start it yesterday afternoon, and finish it this morning.

My neighbor, Barbara, sells real estate, so is interested in neighborhoods, and keeping up value.  She has always looked out for us and our house when we are gone.  She stops by to talk with me while she's out walking her little dog, and now that I don't go out much, she sits and visits some.  She's been a good friend and neighbor.  Anyway, since I love to make quilts personal, I made a lap quilt for her to keep her warm on cold nights.  She stopped by yesterday to give me these stained glass pieces she made especially for me.  I was very impressed.  I really love stained glass, another thing I'd love to do if there was time.
