Nativity

Val had this cute little nativity scene, unpainted, for awhile.  She asked me if I wanted it and of course I brought it home with me.  It took me a few  years but I finally painted it this last summer and gave it back to her.  The pieces fit together as a puzzle inside the stable so it's small and easy to store.   I tried to follow the instructions and did, mostly.  But I had to in the end paint it the way I wanted and felt comfortable with.  I also used the paint colors I had rather than using the huge variety of paints called for.  It was a lot of fun.  After the paint dried, I sprayed it with lacquer for a good finish.
