In all the years we've lived here, since 2002, we've never gotten more than a handful of apricots from our tree. The peach tree is slightly more productive. Having grown up on a fruit farm, I can say that apricots are fragile, they tend to blossom before the last frost and the cold gets then most of the time. Our tree is also subjected to strong winds that blow blossoms, and any surviving fruit off. This year, Vere brought in this whole colander full. Apricot Jam!! Saved a few back to just eat.
