Migrating Geese, June 2014

I just finished this quilt edge yesterday.  The pattern is called "migrating geese" like "flying geese" but on the move.  At first I was nervous about trying this pattern.  But I've had the bright fabric for a few  years, plus some extra matching just for variety, so I made myself try it.  Surprisingly, the parts came together easily, without much stress to keep the points from being cut off.  The binding is some really cute black and white fabric I had, and the bottom picture is the extra geese flying sidways.  The long arm quilter did the quilting in a way I did not anticipate, but I really like what she did.

Wow, that's a cool pattern! Must have taken a lot of work to make sure that the colors were right.

Mostly I already had fabric in those bright colors. I could have done the whole thing with those, but I added some from my stash, just whatever I thought looked good with the color line.
