June 17 and 18, Tina,Andrew and baby visiting

I pulled out some of our antique FisherPrice toys and had them ready for Baby X to play with.  He spent some time with them, but soon enough was anxious to explore the rest of the house.  I tried to baby proof, a little, but there are always traps.  He liked to head for the baker's rack.  We took the glass things off the bottom shelf, but I was nervous he could pull the whole thing over on himself.

Bath in the sink with a toy (lid).

 Squeaky clean!!

 Reaching for the apricots.

He got behind the couch, checking out the carpet and past the curtain.  I got this picture of his double image in the glass door.

Bad Granddad!! Vere got apple pie and ice cream for lunch while the rest of us had hamburgers or salad.  So Baby X got an overload of ice cream and whipped cream.  I tried to get the picture of his mouth gaping open ready for the next mouthful, but he was too quick.  I think he must have gotten at least half of his granddad's lunch.

At the pool with his mama.  He wasn't too sure what all the water was about, but he's mellow, didn't seem too perturbed.

After awhile, he seemed hungry.  Tina mixed him up a bottle and I got to sit in the shade and feed him his bottle, while his momma and daddy went off to the pool or sit in the sun.  I was surprised when he fell asleep.  I just sat there, in this beautiful spot and enjoyed holding him as he slept.  When it was time to go, he was still asleep and slept through the transfer to his car seat.
