Pool noodles to set up quilt sandwich

 I had heard of this way to put the quilt sandwich together but didn't understand what they were talking about till I saw a video on You Tube.  Pool Noodles!  They are the best.  Roll up the backing on a noodle, smoothly.  Same with the batting and then the top.  Then you unwind the fabric backing, then batting, then top, a bit at a time, and pin through all layers.  It's such an easy way to get the three layers smoothly together.  I can't believe the hours I struggled with bunched up quilt parts , trying to smooth then out.
