My friend, Cherryl owns the fabric store south of town. She asked me to put together this quilt from a kit. After she quilts it on the long arm machine it will hang in the shop to promote the line of fabric. The center with the alphabet is a panel. The next border was the most sewing on this quilt - to make the red, blue, green squares. The next border looks like a lot of sewn borders but is actually a strip about 12" wide. I get to keep the left over scraps, of course, which I'll use for my scrappy quilts. Cherry said I could have a $50 credit at her store. Good for me.
