September 2021, 40" X 60" quilt for "Project Linus"
I had a good sized box of 2" square fabric and decided to put them together for a quilt like this. As I was sewing away I found another large bag of pieces, the same size. So I spent about 2 months sewing these squares. I will show two more quilts I've not yet finished. These quilts will be for "Project Linus" which is a National charity for children in crisis. There is a woman representative in Gr.Junction in charge of this area, I can get my quilts to her by calling and her husband who travels to Moab for work will pick them up. Handy, I don't have to mail them. The woman in our quilt guild who also owns a fabric store heard I was making quilts for Linus Project and she donated bolts of fabric manufactured specifically for this charity. The back of this one is from that contribution - nice - backing is always hard to create.
