Bruce showed a t-shirt quilt I had made for him to a co-worker who expressed interest in having one made for him. He offered to pay of course. He sent these 10 large pieces, with instructions how he wanted them joined. He didn't want the usual square or rectangle quilt size, but more like the ones you lay across the end of your bed, for display. So that's how this was put together. I did not use sashing as I usually do, just joined the pieces and a distinctive top stitching at the seam. I was able to machine quilt it, in simple straight stitches.
I think it went together well, smooth and flat.
