I've been working on quilting this one the last little while. I've named it "A Whole Lotta Color". The single block pictured is the one I found in a small box in Vere's father's house when we were staying there. Vere's mother had made one block and petals for some flowers for more. I used them and made a lot more, then stitched the top together and set it aside - about 4 years ago. Finally, I decided it was time to get it quilted as our quilt guild started a UFO project (unfinished object). There is a small outer border and I appliqued a vine with leaves on the outside of the whole top.

you know I love this one because it's appliqued, which I can't do.

Very cool! How many quilts have you done, and what do you do with all of them??? I bought Attic of the Wind for my book basket. The kids really like it! Love, MKG

I keep a small photo album with all the quilts I've made pictured, when it's made and who for. I also have pictures of the quilts and aphgans my girls have made. I counted once and had made over 50 quilts, most of them bed sized. Still, my family is by best achievement.
