white bedroom

So, this is the new bedroom. You can see the ceiling, partially dry before it was painted. I painted the walls the same color we've had in the bedroom for 30 years because I still like it and because it matches the curtains. I got them at IKEA and really like them. The house across the street had a yard sale and I picked up this woven coverlet which is white with yellow flowers woven into it. It's from Portugal and was hardly used and I really love it, even tho it's not very useful. This yard sale had some really beautiful things but they hadn't put much time into presenting things, and everything was still in bags and boxes that we had to rifle thru. I think they would have been able to sell things for a lot of money if they had set them out nicely. Anyway, I got this beautiful duvet (sp) cover, and an embroidered tablecloth with napkins and some sheets and pillowcases too.
