foggy brain

I won't post a picture with this cause there's no way to contain it. Last week was mind boggling because of my RS calling. I had a funeral lunch to supervise, and if you've never done one of those, it's hard to imagine how much work can be involved. Then, Tuesday I was sitting in my relatively clean house, reading, and it occured to me it would be a perfect week to dig the popcorn off the ceilling of our bedroom. I informed Vere of this and then started dragging everything out of the room. Vere is in charge of the digging popcorn and smoothing out the ceiling. I'm then in charge of painting. So Tuesday afternoon, my house no longer clean with ceiling dust all over, and furniture and bedding scattered thruout the house, I'm fixing dinner when the phone starts ringing. Major disaster for someone in the church that means my RS involvement and attention. Phones ringing, phone calling, getting in the car and driving around, food preparation. That's been my life the last two weeks in a totally gross house. Vere, Bless him, has been working on the ceiling and his hand really hurts. But now it's ready for painting and that's my department. I've got to clean up dust, finish washing bedding, and paint the room! Bye. Love you.

Post a picture of your beautiful bedroom when you've finished painting. Tomorrow will be better.

The luncheon for Rosemary's funeral today (Fri.) was sit down for 100 people! Rosemary had done so much for people in the ward that the RS said they were happy to do it. I am sure that each funeral is a huge responsibility. They blessed to have you, Shauna!
