Hugs & Kisses Baby Quilt

I started this little quilt last week.  Darleen, Vere's sister is getting a new little grandson soon and she asked me if I would make a quilt for him   Darleen and Verleen bought the fabric and brought it to me.  I had found this  pattern in my newest quilt magazine and we agreed it would be cute.  Each block is made from four,
4 1/2" squares with the little corner on two sides nipped off.  Then, depending on which way it is turned, it creates an X or an O, hugs and kisses.  The little corners that are cut off are usually thrown away, but I find a good use for them, sew them together to made a border, and the little addition to the backing.
