This quilt is a lap size, I finished the top last year and finally quilted it so I could send it up to Jeremy Miller, a friend from NJ who now lives near SLC. He had said on FB that he knew of a place that could use small quilts for children in the foster care program or in the hospital near him. 
This small quilt is for a newborn at church. I had cut out the strips to demonstrate in a class at quilt guild, how to "strip piece" quilts. I taught the method and finished the quilt to show at guild next month.
