Five or Six years ago, Sonya gave me a book of embroidery patterns, "Nature's Beauty in Redwork". I've been slowly working on the blocks, 30 blocks of embroidery. I wanted to finish the quilt for the quilt show our guild is putting on this week and I just finished this morning the binding and stitching the hanging sleeve on the back. It isn't true traditional red and white because I had this vision of putting the black/white patterned fabric on the back. That's okay, it's unique.
