This is the original quilt. It was apparently a monthly project someone started and gave up on . There were already 10 blocks made, I made two more. There were patterns for all the blocks included. I made the one on the left, red and blue basket and the one on the bottom in the middle. I couldn't figure out how to quilt it easily, so I sat myself down and hand quilted it - continually for 3 weeks. No really, I worked on it a couple hours each day while resting from other hard stuff. I really enjoy hand quilting but it takes too long to do every quilt this way.

2020, two quilts, same fabric
The material for these two quilts came from my friend, Leslie. She got a bunch of stuff from friends in her guild who were giving it away, She thought of me, Hooray! The material is so wonderfully bright and pretty. The first quilt was from fabric left over from the second one. I enjoy making HST's (half square triangles) so I kept making squares till I ran out of fabric. Rather than join them randomly, I put like squares together. Machine quilting it was rather simple. I really love this quilt.
