Alaska iii

On the left, this is is a view across the lake from the front porch. You can see the beginning of the trail that led down to the lake where the boat is docked, which is the path that we dragged everything up when we got there - in the dark. On the far side is where we saw bears several times, three of them including the baby.

The picture on the right , looking between the trees in the center is about where the dock is where we loaded up the boat and rowed across. These pictures were taken from the small front porch. It was overcast most of the time and raining a lot of the time. But still fun, and I got used to being a little damp, and I just forgot about my hair. There were no mirrors anywhere, and people looking at me just had to deal with it. More later.
