Our last day: this is the "kitchen" part of the cabin and Jan and Ken are packing up stove and cooking utensils. Outside, Travis is watching over the campfire. We loved our campfire. Someone asked about plumbing facilities. We brought in our clean water in huge jugs/bottles for drinking or washing dishes. This outhouse in back, along the path in "bear country" was fairly clean as those things go. We did have a porta-potty in the back porch, surrounded by shower curtains. Either way, it was not easy, but part of the adventure.

I hope you had a good time. It is beautiful country! I've never been to Alaska and I'd like to go. Hope you brought home lots of salmon! Any bear skins??? Love, MKG
