Images of our Christmas in Columbus, Ohio. We drove from Moab, on December 15 when it was very cold here and even colder in Denver. There had been a storm a day or two before, but when we drove over the pass, there was some snow on the road, but mostly it was a good day to be traveling. It was 1 degree in Denver. We grabbed Tina, found a place for her in our truck and drove on. We drove in clear weather til almost midnight and found a hotel. We should have kept driving all night, because when we woke it was snowing. We ran into an ice storm in Illinois and Indiana and when we were about 2 hours (normally) from Val's, we just had to stop for another night. We could only travel about 40 mph and had to stop often to break ice off the windshield and wipers, and even from the head lights and the radiator. We didn't want to get there at 3 in the morning.
Wednesday, we woke up to clear but cold skies and we got to Val's in about 3 hours. While we were in Columbus, in a few days, it warmed up so we were outside without jackets some of the time. Christmas eve, we had ham and sweet potatos, apple, banana cream, and pumpkin pies. Christmas morning, we had a fun Christmas. In the pictures you can see Mo with her dish set, and the knitted bunny Tina made for her. Thomas is wearing his rain hat I got for him in Nova Scotia and the two of them are playing tug-of-war with - what's his name from "Toy Story". Can you tell what the toy's name is?

Fun pictures - Love seeing everyone looking great and happy. Glad you had such a good time!
Your travels sound like ours to MN! We hit a really bad patch - cars and trucks all over the median and sides of the road..heavy snow - very slippery.
Buzz Lightyear is the toy's name! It is such a fun movie and toy.
What's next?
Stay healthy..xxoo
I'm sure Val loves having her house shown like this!
