When I came home in October, there was the new concrete slab where the old broken up driveway had been. It doesn't go all the way out to the road, but it's nice to have a solid, smooth surface to park on. Then Vere and Aaron Pratt, mostly Aaron, (Aaron is a builder after all) built a 12' addition to the front of the garage. So far the addition doesn't have a door, but it will and the old one will be gone. Vere on top putting the mettle roof on. I wish he could put a mettle roof on the house. Each storm furnishes a new supply of shingles for the lawn. When it's warmer Vere will organize and rearrange the garage more.

Hi Shauna,
I like seeing the picture of the new garage. So are you getting two new cars to fill up that long space? or will the back - the old part - be a workshop like Mike has?
Hope all is well....

the plan (at times) is to make a room in the garage for Vere to load his bullets, also, there is a place to hang the animal heads and hides in there as I won't let them be in the house.
