We had our quilt guild show this weekend, Saturday and Sunday. Our guild is called the "Delicate Stitchers" in referrence to the "Delicate Arch" red rock formation near here that is so famous. The show is called "Quilting in the Red Rocks". We're so clever here in Moab.
We do this show every other year and each time I'm amazed how many quilts our little group can come up with, and how really beautiful they are. The people who come to see the show, usually about 400 people, men and women, are asked to vote on their favorite. This black and white quilt was voted favorite this year. It doesn't look quite as stunning in this picture as it really is. But it is a really simple block. I did one using this block which is on the blog a few posts back. Mine was in pale green and pink.
