This is the quilt I made for Megan Giese's baby. It's called "stacked coins" or Roman Coins. It's made from flannel, and feels very warm. I spent two days just cutting up all the smallish pieces of flannel that I had. Now I have a couple shoe boxes of these flannel pieces that I can sew together into quilts for "kids in crisis". I think next time I will put narrower pieces of beige flannel between the "stacked coins".
