Jill and Mimi playing "Slap Jack". I taught Mimi this game and thought maybe it would get out of hand and someone would get slapped. But the kids are so good, they didn't slap each other, just the cards.
Mimi in her new dress. It will probably fit her for years. So cute.
Somehow I don't have a good front picture of Parker, but there are a lot of cute pictures of Mimi with the wind blowing her hair. She liked to try the surf board though sometimes the waves flipped the board over on top of her, instead of the other way around. The two of them would play in the water for at least a half hour, being thrown around like clothes in a washer. Then they'd run back up to the "hot sand", to coat themselves and examine the intricacies of beach sand. When I was in the deep water with Parker, I stayed out of the breaking waves preferring to bob in smooth water. But Parker liked to be further in where the waves were crashing. He called it "white water".
