Oregon #2

The Rose garden was up high in the mountains so this was a view between the trees of Portland below.  Our tour guide told us some of the most favored roses were named in honor of 9/11.  I took the pictures of the names on the signs.  The bottom picture is of our tour friends, June, Barbara, and Charon.  The whole busload of women gravitated into smaller groups and these three were usually in a group with me and Debbie.  June and Barbara are from Great Britain, in the south near Brighton.  We met them on the shuttle from the airport to the hotel, the first day.  We called them, "the Brits".  It was fun.
