The first day we were in Oregon, we went to a little museum/gift shop where I took a picture of this antique quilt. It would be fun to replicate it.
The same afternoon, we went to Canon Beach, on the coast. We spent some time in this little town on the beach. This picture is of (I think) lobster traps or something hanging in a tree.
There were lots of flowers all over town.
This is a picture of the local quilt fabric shop. It was so small and crowded that I bought only a magazine, but it was fun to look at the fabric.
It was a cool day, but some people were swimming. I'm sure the water was too cold. There are some kites in the air if you can see them.
This is called "Haystack" rock. There were lots of huge rocks or whatevers, sticking up from the ocean. This is the biggest, and seems to be famous. At least, the guide was talking about it on the ride over.
